Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden Activation at Kota Kasablanka

The challenge

The major cross-industry IP collaboration between Southeast Asia’s most popular mobile battle royale, Garena Free Fire, and the globally revered anime franchise Naruto Shippuden, demanded an experiential physical world that would satisfy passionate gaming and anime fandoms known for scrutinising visual canon.

Key challenges resolved by Livindo:

  • Extreme Crowd Densities: Kota Kasablanka's Grand Atrium is one of South Jakarta's most heavily foot-trafficked commercial plazas. The spatial layout had to queue thousands of fans simultaneously without choking surrounding tenant storefronts or fire egress routes.
  • Anime & Gaming Worldbuilding Authenticity: The bright yellow tactical Konoha Village Torii gate, Kurama's nine swirling chakra tails, and the cozy Ichiraku Ramen booth required meticulous proportion and silhouette matching.
  • High-Tech & Physical Staging Integration: Housing an esports competition stage, illuminated photo opportunities, and dozens of smartphone gaming demo kiosks demanded invisible, heavy-duty concealed wiring and electrical safety throughout the open atrium floor.

Our approach

  1. Monumental Konoha Torii Archway:

Standing 5.5 meters tall with an 8-meter clear span, the gateway was engineered with heavy-gauge steel trussing clad in smooth structural timber. Finished in Free Fire's signature high-visibility yellow automotive duco with tactical black stencils, it was crowned by traditional Japanese pagoda roofs and backlit 3D acrylic brand insignias.

  1. Atrium Centerpiece: 4-Meter 3D Kurama Tails:

At the center of the atrium floor, Livindo sculpted dynamic, spiraling nine-tails of the legendary Nine-Tailed Fox (Kurama). Built over curved tubular steel ribs with high-density EPS foam and lamination, the tails glowed under concealed amber-orange warm floodlights to evoke crackling spirit chakra.

  1. Authentic Ichiraku Ramen Dining Pavilion:

A life-sized walkthrough replica of the iconic Ichiraku Ramen shop featured authentic glazed ceramic-style tile shingles, hand-lettered Japanese kanji noren fabric curtains, glowing red paper lanterns, and a rustic wooden service counter where visitors could sit on bar stools for character photo ops.

  1. Strategic Visitor Flow & Cable Management:

Livindo planned a one-way looped patron journey separating arrival queues, selfie photo zones, trial gaming stations, and prize redemption areas. High-capacity power lines and network cables were channeled under heavy-duty rubber cable protectors beneath non-slip commercial gray carpeting.

Outcome

The Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden weekend activation drew over 45,000 visitors to Kota Kasablanka. Continuous lines for the Konoha gateway and Ichiraku photo spots ran seamlessly, generating millions of organic social media impressions and widespread esports media coverage. Garena Indonesia and Kota Kasablanka management praised Livindo's turnkey production speed, structural precision, and unwavering safety diligence.
